Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Trainee to join our team in the Lancaster area. The role trains you to become a future Assistant Store Manager, with relocation/commute to one of three area stores as you progress.

You will work with the Store Manager to drive excellent operations, customer service, and merchandising while developing product knowledge and leadership abilities. The position emphasizes strong leadership, staff development, and the ability to motivate teams to meet

Qualifications

Retail management experience is required.
Must be able to lead and supervise staff.
Proficient with Excel and Word and store software.
Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle fast-paced environment and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Partner with Store Manager to deliver high-quality customer service and supervise staff.
Direct store personnel to build revenue and meet sales goals.
Coordinate efforts of all staff to achieve targets.
Ensure attractive, safe, and correctly priced merchandise displays.
Recruit, train and develop personnel.
Maintain positive, professional team atmosphere.
Address associate and customer questions and concerns.
Participate in maintenance and upkeep of building and grounds.
