Mattress Firm is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional in-store experience. You will coach and develop associates, manage staffing, visual merchandising, and omni-channel initiatives to meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one meetings to gain a deep understanding of your team's motivations and aspirations; develop a comprehensive team bio book that grows alongside your team.
• Perform 30-60-90 day check-ins with new team members to discuss progress and opportunities.
• Conduct workforce management activities (store staffing schedule, reconciling punches, etc.), utilizing Operations team support and tools.
• Ensure company policies, including appearance and functionality standards, and state regulations are followed.
• Provide professional communication and representation of the Company brand in all internal and external interactions.
• Follow Company procedures for product transfers to ensure proper documentation of inventory.
• Plan strategically with leadership to determine staffing levels and adjust accordingly.
• Analyze company provided reporting to identify skill gaps and address through coaching.
• Achieve or exceed store financial targets through effective execution and customer service at the store level.
• Ensure store execution of merchandising, marketing and POP standards; collaborate with marketing on social media strategy.
• Ensure timely opening and closing procedures; manage stock inventory levels; review merchandise flow; follow cash handling and deposit procedures.
• Adhere to all sales processing policies for customer invoicing; support leadership in executing company initiatives.
