Job summary

Mattress Firm is seeking a Store Manager to lead store teams, drive sales, and deliver exceptional in-store experiences. You will coach associates, manage staffing, and ensure accurate inventory and cash handling across multi-store operations.

You will collaborate with marketing on merchandising and social media efforts, maintain compliance with policies, and push for strong KPI results while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading store teams and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to analyze reports and adjust staffing levels.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead store vision, initiatives, and sales performance across units.
• Conduct 30–60–90 day onboarding and team development sessions.
• Perform workforce management including staffing, punches reconciliation, and schedule planning.
• Ensure policy compliance, cash handling, and proper documentation of inventory transfers.
• Partner with marketing to execute store merchandising, POP, and social media plans.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and stock integrity for assigned store.
