Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager in Forest City, IA to oversee all store operations and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage staffing, training, and performance while ensuring accurate inventory, merchandised presentation, and financial controls across daily store activities.

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and Company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps and counsels as needed.
• Manages store opening/closing schedule and staffing to meet daily needs.
• Monitors operating statements to identify sales trends, expenses, and shrink.
• Ensures merchandise is stocked and presented according to standards; reviews ordering plans weekly.
