Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store manager responsible for leading all store operations, staffing, training and performance management. You will oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, merchandising, pricing and cash handling while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

You'll open/close the store, manage inventory and staff, and drive customer service excellence. Prior retail management experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 1 year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and store security policies.
• Experience recruiting, training, and coaching staff in a store setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage all employees in planning and implementing store processes.
• Staff, recruit, train, and evaluate personnel; counsel and terminate as needed.
• Ensure proper staffing, opening/closing, and adherence to policies.
