Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Alabama is seeking a Store Manager to lead a multi-million-dollar store operation, drive sales, mentor the team, and uphold Burlington values while delivering a world-class shopping experience.

You will oversee merchandising, day-to-day operations, staffing, coaching, and employee relations, manage payroll and scheduling, and partner with district and regional teams to execute company policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to enforce policies and initiatives.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing with merchandising teams.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargebacks for accurate inventory.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budgets; review reporting and records.
• Recruit, screen and hire associates to meet staffing needs and forecasted demand.
• Provide onboarding, coaching, and structured training for all team members.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues; manage payroll and scheduling.
• Facilitate communication and partnerships with district/regional teams and other partners.
