Job summary

• Maintain cash, inventory and expenses controls.
• Transmit end-of-day reports by deadlines.
• Make daily bank deposits.
• Call in fuel report daily.
• Choose authorized person for deposits; obtain District Manager approval.
• Analyze sales trends by shift and day.
• Maintain staffing; train and schedule employees.
• Recruit, screen and hire new employees.
• Coach, counsel and direct store staff; train deputies.
• Develop and post staff work schedules.
• Delegate duties as needed.
• Conduct timely performance reviews.
• Discipline staff with District Manager input.
• Ensure store meets company standards and policies.
• Order groceries to avoid over/under stock; manage beer/soft drinks orders.
• Ensure timely merchandising and pricing signage.
• Attend training meetings.
