Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 1 year retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; basic math skills for transactions and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training and evaluations; identify gaps and counsel when needed.
• Manage pay rate recommendations and advancement considerations.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; run meetings.
• Open/close the store as needed; maintain daily operations.
• Analyze sales, profitability, and inventory to identify trends and shrinkage.
• Oversee stock ordering, in-stock targets, and cycle counts.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, pricing and signage meet standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash control compliance.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership and a clean, safe environment.
