Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations in Brattleboro, Vermont. You will recruit and coach the team, ensure accurate cash handling, inventory control, and excellent customer service while meeting sales goals.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, opening/closing the store, reviewing performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and federal laws. A high school diploma and retail management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to supervise employees and ensure store is properly staffed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training and conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for solutions.
• Maintain opening/closing routines; ensure staffing levels are met.
• Monitor sales, inventory and expenses to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure merchandise presentation and signage meet established standards.
