Qualifications

• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring and termination practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per labor laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; address gaps including counseling or termination.
• Set pay rate recommendations and advancement paths.
• Communicate performance expectations regularly; coordinate safety and policy meetings.
• Open and close the store as required; ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Monitor business trends (sales, profitability, turnover) and control expenses.
• Manage stock levels and ordering to meet in-stock targets; review inventory issues weekly.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and signage across the floor.
• Maintain accurate inventory and secure cash handling processes.
• Lead superior customer service and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Ensure readiness of tools and equipment to perform tasks.
• Adhere to SOPs and internal policies; complete paperwork on time.
