Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire and train qualified applicants to fulfill a store need.
• Familiarity with federal and state labor laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to labor laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct evaluations; identify gaps and counseling or termination when needed.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings.
• Ensure store is properly staffed and opened/closed daily.
• Open and close the store at least twice per week.
• Evaluate operating statements for sales, profitability, and inventory issues.
• Order to meet in-stock targets and manage inventory weekly.
