Job summary

You will recruit and train employees, evaluate performance, ensure loss prevention, safety, and accurate cash handling, while meeting sales targets and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret basic documents and procedures.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability.
• Experience performing performance evaluations and coaching.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training for employees; conduct evaluations; address gaps and counseling.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings.
• Open and close the store on schedule and manage daily openings.
