Dollar General is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee all store operations, including staffing, training, and implementing store processes. You will lead recruiting, manage performance, guard cash controls, and drive inventory management.

The role requires ensuring the store opens and closes on schedule, maintaining safety, and delivering excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will have prior retail management experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to company

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.
• Familiar with inventory management, merchandising practices and loss prevention.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and counsel when needed.
• Recommend pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate expectations and ensure safety, security and policy adherence.
• Open and close the store as required and staff accordingly.
• Monitor sales, profitability, shrink, and inventory levels weekly.
• Ensure merchandise is presented per guidelines and pricing is accurate.
