Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for solutions and/or counseling, up to termination.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events to reinforce policies.
• Open and close the store personally at least twice weekly.
• Evaluate operating statements for trends and opportunities; manage inventory planning weekly.
• Facilitate staging, stocking and presentation of merchandise per company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory, cash accountability and security procedures.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and maintain a safe, clean store environment.
