• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling and termination practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations and counsel when needed.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, merchandising and pricing.
• Ensure store opens/closes properly and maintains safety standards.
• Monitor sales, expenses and inventory to optimize profitability.
• Maintain cash control, cashier accountability and store security.
