Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking a Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver consistent customer experiences, and positively impact growth. Store leaders are brand ambassadors who connect with customers and drive performance.

You will lead a team, set clear goals, and partner with senior leadership to execute store initiatives, elevate product storytelling, and ensure smooth daily operations. This role emphasizes coaching, talent development, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, exceptional customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
• Passion for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
• Effective communication skills, open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
• Must be available to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent including the store leadership team (SLT).
• Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates through effective and fair leadership.
• Own and delegate leadership tasks to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with the SLT to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
• Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret/disseminate company directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
