Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations in Florida.

The role leads the entire operation to meet company standards, while recruiting, training, and developing the leadership team to achieve sales and profit targets in a friendly shopping environment. The Store Manager will also manage stockroom, front end, and sales floor processes to ensure timely merchandise flow, cost control, and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leads all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity by minimizing steps and touches while working.
• Analyzes Store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and overall Store performance.
• Addresses any variance to Company standards with appropriate action plan, partnering with the District Manager as needed.
• Ensures proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives.
• Responsible for payroll administration including daily punch edits, Associate scheduling compliance, Sunday payroll transmission, and Payroll reporting as needed.
