Job summary

Burlington Stores in the United States is seeking a Store Manager to lead a multi-million-dollar operation, drive sales, and coach a team to deliver exceptional customer service and a world-class shopping experience.

You will oversee daily merchandising, operations, and service tasks, recruit and develop associates, manage budget, and partner with merchandising and operations leaders to execute company policies and initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and coach teams.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar store budgets and P&L responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to implement company policies and initiatives.
• Lead by example as Manager on Duty and maintain Burlington SOPs to set the standard for service and operations.
• Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Merchandising to coordinate merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing.
• Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Operations to review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, returns-to-vendor, and chargebacks for inventory accuracy.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget, reviewing reporting and record-keeping.
• Recruit, screen, and hire associates to meet staffing needs; facilitate onboarding and training with ongoing coaching.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues; manage payroll budget and workforce scheduling.
• Facilitate effective communication among store team, district and regional management, and other partners.
