GPM Investments, LLC in Ruston, LA is seeking a reliable Sales Associate to greet customers, run the register, and ensure the store is clean and welcoming. You will handle lottery, alcohol, and tobacco sales with proper age verification while maintaining a safe, well-organized store.

The role requires a customer-service mindset, the ability to work weekends/holidays, and willingness to cross-train in other departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is appreciated, but not required.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ring up purchases with accuracy and speed.
• Becomes an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification compliance.
• Upsell customers where appropriate to boost sales.
• Keep inside and outside of the store clean and safe, including bathrooms, pumps area, and parking lot.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including sweeping, mopping, windows, and entryways.
• Willing to cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies and be a team player.
