Job summary

Burlington in Michigan is seeking a Store Manager to lead a multi-million-dollar store operation with a focus on delivering a world-class shopping experience and upholding Burlington's values of trust, respect, and integrity.

You will mentor and coach Assistant Managers and associates, manage all day-to-day merchandising, operations, and service tasks, and partner with district leadership to drive results. This is a salaried, full-time role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of established company policies, standards, expectations and initiatives.
• Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Merchandising to coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions and pricing.
• Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Operations to review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, returns-to-vendor (RTV's), and chargeback paperwork to ensure accuracy of inventory.
• Payroll budget management, workforce management and scheduling.
• Facilitate onboarding and training for new associates, provide ongoing coaching, and develop team members.
