Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Michigan to lead all store operations, drive sales, and uphold our values.

You will mentor and coach the team, deliver excellent customer service, and manage day-to-day merchandising, operations, and service tasks to ensure store success. Responsibilities include budget oversight, staffing, onboarding, coaching, and coordinating with district and regional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of established company policies, standards, expectations and initiatives.
• Ensure Assistant Managers and store team members are fulfilling their individual responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing with Merchandising leadership.
• Review inventory processes including receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargeback paperwork for accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and uphold Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget with reporting oversight.
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboarding, training, coaching, and development for team members.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budget management, workforce management and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication among store, district, regional teams and partners.
