Job summary

HouseMart in Hawaii is seeking a Store Manager to oversee the store’s daily operations, drive sales and profit, and deliver exceptional customer service to our community.

You will coach and develop staff, monitor performance against budgets, manage inventory controls, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work with a family-owned leadership team in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field or at least 3 years of related experience may be substituted.
• 2-3 years of retail and/or business supervisory experience preferred or completion of a Manager Trainee Program.
• Working experience with MS Office, Google, internet and e-mail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily and monthly sales achievements vs budgets to meet/exceed goals.
• Ensure adherence to company objectives, policies and procedures in the store’s operation.
• Greet customers courteously and determine needs to offer appropriate service or products.
• Recruit, train and develop staff to company expectations and foster teamwork.
• Maintain inventory system and assist with store audits and reports.
