GameStop is seeking a Store Manager in North Carolina to lead store operations, guest service, and financial performance. You will supervise a retail team, drive sales through product knowledge, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and a multiunit capacity.
• Provide best-in-class guest service by greeting guests, addressing questions, and promoting promotions.
• Support the store environment, visuals, and current sales initiatives to drive sales and loyalty.
• Process purchases/returns accurately using the POS system and ensure top guest service.
• Respond to guest inquiries in person or by phone with professional courtesy.
• Promote GameStop guest benefits such as reservations, trade-in, and Pro Rewards.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop associates; ensure onboarding and training.
• Communicate with store staff and District Manager to implement initiatives and train associates.
• Schedule staff to meet guest service goals while maintaining coverage and compliance.
• Approve payroll and manage paid time off and time edits.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per guidelines.
• Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and keep stock organized from back to floor.
• Lead the team to meet sales, profit, and shrink goals and handle administrative duties.
• Count and reconcile daily transactions and banking activities.
• Verify shipments and conduct regular inventories; report discrepancies.
• Ensure safety and compliance, including loss prevention practices and bank deposits.
• Maintain records and stay current with company policies and procedures.
