Highwire Coffee Roasters is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead one of our East Bay cafés. You will coach a hands-on team, ensure outstanding guest experiences, and own daily operations from staffing to inventory and safety compliance.

You’ll balance hospitality with strong operational discipline, empower your teammates, and collaborate with leadership to drive store performance and community engagement in a dynamic coffee environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or retail environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams and lead shift operations.
• Experience hiring, onboarding, scheduling, inventory management, and labor planning.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Balance exceptional hospitality with consistent operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop café staff, coach shift leaders, and set clear expectations.
• Provide consistent coaching, recognition, and performance feedback.
• Address performance issues promptly and professionally.
• Foster a positive, accountable team culture and develop future leaders.
• Oversee daily café operations and ensure consistent execution across shifts.
• Monitor sales, labor, inventory, and operating costs; partner with leadership to improve performance.
