Job summary

The Salvation Army in Zion, IL is seeking a skilled Store Manager to lead daily store operations, maximize sales, and supervise staff in a mission-driven retail environment dedicated to serving the community.

You will oversee donation intake, pricing, merchandising, cash handling, and reporting; maintain safety standards; and foster excellent customer service and community outreach in alignment with the organization’s mission of Doing the Most Good.

Qualifications

• Experience managing staff in a retail setting.
• Proven retail management experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
• Manage scheduling and payroll processing.
• Oversee donation processes, pricing, and presentation.
• Ensure store maintenance, safety, and appearance.
• Oversee cash handling and daily deposits.
• Provide daily reports on store production and sales.
