Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is seeking a Store Manager to oversee thrift store operations, supervise staff and volunteers, and ensure pricing accuracy. You will close drawers, manage deposits, and maintain a welcoming environment for customers while upholding the organization's mission.

This position requires a High School diploma, background check, and valid driver’s license; cash handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required and reviewed.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and complete Safe-From-Harm training within 30 days; complete computer-based training for safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Close the store: manage cash, deposits, and paperwork.
• Supervise cashiers, staff and volunteers.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and priced; coordinate pricing.
• Learn and enforce all store policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
