Job summary

Burlington Stores in Ohio is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead all store operations, drive sales, and mentor a diverse team. You will embody Our Burlington values, deliver a world-class shopping experience, and own day-to-day merchandising, operations, and service management.

You will manage staff, payroll, scheduling, and performance, partnering with district and regional teams to ensure strong results and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of company policies and initiatives.
• Oversee responsibilities of store team and ensure accountability for roles.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing with merchandising team.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargeback paperwork for inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and uphold Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budgets and related reporting.
• Recruit, screen and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Facilitate onboarding and training and provide ongoing coaching.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budgeting, scheduling, and workforce management.
• Foster effective communication across store, district, regional teams and partners.
