Job summary

The Children’s Place in Odessa, Texas is seeking a Store Manager to lead a busy apparel store at Music City Mall. You will drive sales, build brand loyalty, set expectations, and deliver outstanding customer service while recruiting and developing top retail talent.

You will be fully accountable for the store's financial results, coach a high-performing team, ensure visual standards, manage scheduling and payroll, and uphold brand guidelines to create a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of specialty retail store management experience in relevant traffic, volume, and unit intensity.
• Excellent customer engagement, talent development, visual presentation, and operational skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by recruiting and developing high performing teams, interview, hire, and retain top talent for key store and district positions.
• Develop future leaders for internal pipeline and network with external talent for succession planning.
• Create and maintain a diverse, high-performing team through selection, development, and motivation.
• Communicate goals and monitor progress against key business metrics.
• Coach and mentor to meet store and company goals; lead by example on loss prevention and SOPs.
