Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, and procedures.
• Perform basic math, percentages and inventory calculations.
• Understand cash handling, deposit controls and cashier accountability.
• Learn IBM cash register functions to generate reports.
• Know inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Follow cash, safety and facility control policies.
• Recruit, interview, and hire while ensuring legal compliance.
• Communicate clearly and work well with others.
• Stay organized and details-focused; solve problems as they arise.
• Spanish speakers may be preferred at certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and pricing using fixtures and signs.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and documentation.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership at the store level.
• Model company procedures per handbook and SOPs.
• Participate in store opening/closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of funds and cash controls.
• Maintain secure and clean store environment.
• Operate store in manager's absence and review business trends.
