Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated development program to groom Store Managers. Candidates will learn to lead full store operations spanning front-end and pharmacy and complete required certifications. The program includes rotations, training, and development plans with District and Store Managers.

Participants will gain exposure to asset protection, customer service leadership, and performance management while pursuing pharmacy technician registration/licensure as required by state law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to accept assignment into Store Manager position if offered.
• Willingness to transfer to Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens operations to lead full store operations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Shadow Store Manager to gain experience supervising front-end and pharmacy operations.
• Shadow and assist in leading store during learning journey to readiness for Store Manager role.
