Insomnia Cookies is actively hiring for a full-time hourly Store Manager in Training (MIT) at our Auburn store. We are seeking hospitality-focused individuals looking to join our industry-leading, rapidly growing, nationally recognized company!

What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies?

1. Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present.
2. Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries.
3. Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff.
4. Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, and Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence.
5. Support the Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
6. Ensure staff adherence to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies).
7. Promote upselling and ensure overall customer service excellence.

Desired skills/experience:

1. At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store.
2. Experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff.
3. Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
4. Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
5. Availability to work a 4-5 day work week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun).
6. Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible for employment in the U.S.
