Walmart is seeking an Emerging Store Manager (ESM) in the Saugus, MA area as a developmental leadership role aimed at preparing associates for Store Manager opportunities within the Walmart US store operations environment.

The ESM will train across merchandising, people leadership, financial management, customer experience, and community engagement, with mobility across the region for Store Manager placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, retail management or financial management.
• 2 years' general management experience in retail/operations with supervising responsibilities.
• Firearms CBC/eligibility requirements only apply where relevant.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading store management by supporting objectives and communicating goals.
• Monitor budget, expenditures, and store financial performance.
• Develop staffing plans and talent pipelines for Store Manager placement.
• Coordinate community outreach and partnerships as a store representative.
• Ensure policy compliance and implement asset protection and safety controls.
