Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year retail experience preferred for external candidates.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Ability to learn IBM cash register functions and generate reports.
• Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities as needed.
• Support store merchandising according to standards and signage.
• Assist with inventory management, damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and daily store operations.
• Act as a role model by following company policies and SOPs.
• Participate in opening and closing store activities.
• Ensure safe handling of funds and cash control procedures.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and safe environment.
• Operate store in Store Manager's absence and review performance data.
