Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to assist the Store Manager in daily operations at our Silverton, OR locations. You will supervise staff, handle inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and store processes while preparing for a future Store Manager role.

You'll contribute to a fast-paced retail environment, ensure compliance with policies, and support opening/closing activities, store safety, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment is beneficial.
• Ability to supervise staff and ensure policy compliance.

Responsabilités

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and pricing practices.
• Assist in inventory management and proper damages handling.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and store safety.
• Participate in opening and closing activities.
• Ensure cash handling and security procedures are followed.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and safe environment.
• Review operating statements for trends and cost controls.
• Complete paperwork according to guidelines and deadlines.
