Job summary

J&H Family Stores in Michigan is seeking a Restaurant Store Manager to lead daily operations, oversee inventory, and ensure food safety, cleanliness, and customer service excellence. You will recruit and train staff and manage local marketing efforts while maintaining financial controls.

You will direct a team of 4 to 12 employees, schedule shifts, enforce safety standards, and drive sales through exceptional service and community engagement in a fast-paced QSR environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in QSR environment, supervising and training staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to operate a computerized POS system/cash register.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work 40–50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Completes and posts the staff work schedules.
• Manages a staff of approximately 4 to 12; assigns, oversees and evaluates work.
• Communicates changes of food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to staff.
• Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
• Ensures health and food safety codes are maintained and policies followed.
• Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales.
