Job summary

J&H Family Stores in Michigan is seeking a Store Manager to lead overall store operations, manage inventory and money control systems, and ensure food safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards are maintained.

You will recruit and train staff, direct local marketing initiatives, keep business records, and promote sales. Strong QSR supervisory experience and excellent communication skills are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in QSR environment, supervising/training staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes and posts staff work schedules.
• Manages a staff of approximately 4 to 12; assigns, oversees and evaluates work; recommends promotions/transfers/terminations; conducts evaluations.
• Communicates changes of food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to staff.
• Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with local and national health and food safety codes and company safety policies.
• Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales.
