You will recruit and develop associates, oversee daily duties, and implement corporate directives to maximize profits in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes hands-on training, teamwork, and maintaining a safe, welcoming store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and perform related tasks including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training and merchandising coaching.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets and maintain customer service excellence.
