Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead with customer service excellence and foster a welcoming store environment for customers and associates alike.

You will participate in on-the-job training to learn profitable store operations, merchandising, and leadership while developing skills to manage daily activities, coach teams, and uphold company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks with/without accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster development through training on operations and merchandising while coaching when appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and enforce company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
