Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Store Manager in Training who can inspire teams and deliver outstanding customer service. You will learn to manage store operations, merchandising standards, and signage to create an inviting shopping environment.

You will recruit and develop associates, supervise daily activities, ensure compliance with laws and company policies, and drive profitable results through strong leadership and hands-on coaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Oversee and delegate store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement merchandising and operational direction from corporate HQ.
• Help store reach maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
