Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Store Manager in Training to learn how to manage the profitable operations of the assigned store. You will maintain merchandising standards, display techniques, and an inviting atmosphere for customers.

The role includes recruiting and coaching associates, managing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and driving profit while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with a potential quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers
• Foster growth through training on operations and merchandising while coaching
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate
• Help your store reach its maximum profit contribution
• Protect company assets
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store
