Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Store Manager in Training. You will learn to manage profitable store operations through on-the-job training, focusing on merchandising, display, and customer experience. Core duties include hiring, coaching, daily operations, compliance, opening/closing, and safeguarding assets while driving profits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsabilités

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate.
