Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Store Manager in Training in Norwood, MA. You will engage in on-the-job training to learn profitable store operations, including merchandising, placement, and signage to create an inviting customer atmosphere.

You will recruit and train associates, oversee daily store activities, and ensure compliance with laws and policies while driving profitability and exceptional service. This is a full-time role with potential quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills; ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster development of associates through training and coaching.
• Oversee and delegate daily store activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure legal compliance and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters.
• Help store reach maximum profit contribution.
