You will recruit and coach associates, ensure compliance with laws and policies, and lead efforts to maximize profitability while protecting assets. This is a full-time role with a quarterly bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs and frequent standing, walking, stooping and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with laws and regulations and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.

• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
