Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in supervising staff, merchandising, inventory, and daily store operations. This role develops an external candidate for the Store Manager position and is for a limited period.

The candidate will assist in recruiting, staffing, and ensuring in-stock targets through proper ordering, while maintaining customer service leadership and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in a leadership or managerial position.
• Two or more years of experience in a retail grocery store preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assists in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assists with store merchandising and staging of merchandise per established practices.
• Assists in inventory management, damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follows prescribed ordering to meet in-stock targets.
