Dollar Tree is seeking a Store Manager in Training to learn how to lead a busy store, drive customer service, merchandising, and storefront presentation. This on-the-job program builds leadership skills while you support daily operations and guest satisfaction.

You will recruit and develop associates, manage store activities, ensure compliance, and help maximize profit contribution. The role offers full-time hours in Dover, Delaware, with a quarterly bonus tied to performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
