Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Training to learn how to manage the profitable operations of a Dollar Tree store. You will participate in on-the-job training while maintaining merchandising standards, signage, and an inviting customer atmosphere.

You will recruit and hire associates, coach them through operations and merchandising, and delegate store activities to ensure smooth daily operations. A focus on customer service, compliance, and protecting assets is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and perform related physical tasks.
