Duties include recruiting and coaching associates, managing daily store activities, ensuring legal compliance, and driving store profitability. A high-energy team environment and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs and meet frequent physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with laws and regulations, and enforce policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
