You will recruit, train, and lead associates while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. The role emphasizes managing daily activities, driving profitability, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with laws and regulations, and enforce policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate.
• Help store reach maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
