Job summary

altaexternalcareersite is seeking a Manager-In-Training in Missouri to join as a full-time team member. The MIT will complete a training program under the Store Manager and learn to manage, direct and supervise daily store operations.

You will help maintain a pleasant environment for customers and employees under company policies; training culminates with transition into a Store Manager role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor, lead or assistant manager in a retail or fast food environment.
• Coach, train and develop your team to the next level in their career.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including overnights and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for at least 8 hours.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead (30 min).
• Ability to push/pull up to 20 pounds using a hand-truck.
• Ability to climb ladders to store or retrieve materials or signage.
• Stores may require comfort in small spaces at times.
