Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a candidate to learn and lead one-box store operations, including front-end and pharmacy, through an accelerated development track. You will shadow the Store Manager, oversee daily operations, and participate in ongoing training as you progress toward Store Manager readiness.

You will complete required certifications, engage in classroom and on-the-job training, and collaborate with district leadership to demonstrate readiness for permanent assignment in a Walgreens store.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens' operations to lead one-box full store operations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Oversee the operation (front-end and pharmacy) of a Walgreens store under Store Manager guidance.
• Shadow or assist the Store Manager in leading store during the learning journey.
• Participate in compliance SOPs and training across front-end and pharmacy.
